Roadsters |
Excellent arcade racing game with jaw dropping visuals (for the time) and nice amounts of options. There's was also a port on the PS1 but it turned out absolutely horrible in comparison. |

Bust a Move 99/Puzzle Bobble |
It's a revamped Bust a Move with great graphics and a new excellent 4 player mode, what's not to like about that? |

Body Harvest |
This great action based game that impressed with it's level of freedom was the spiritual precurser to GTAIII. It had a very tumulturous release as it was originally planned to be an N64 launch title but the then publisher Nintendo repeatedly sent it back on the grounds that DMA (now known as Rockstar North) had to tone down the content, then after that Nintendo dropped out of publishing entirely. The game eventually recieved a new publisher two years after the N64 launch. |

Mischief Makers |
Another Treasure classic for the N64, and easily the systems best 2D platformer, it's full to the brim with depth, ideas, humour and quite honestly some of the most impressive boss battles I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing on any console. |

Jet Force Gemini |
For Jet Force Gemini Rare decided to focus more on gung ho action than in previous platformers, and the results were excellent. The usual Rare humour was also apparent in spades too. |

Wipeout 64 |
The N64 eventually got it's own Wipeout game when this arrived, and damn was it a great one, this was also the only game in the series to feature a 4-player split screen I believe. |
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
Spider-man |
People really didn't expect this to turn out as good as it did, but the great platforming action with all Spider-man's moves at your disposal and quality programming created a real winner in a sea of licensed dross (Superman 64 anyone?). |

1080 Snowboarding |
1080 was one of the most important, if not the most important snowboarding game of the early period, most other snowboarding games were just racers with a different theme whereas 1080 went to town on making sure the handling over different types of snow, and general feel of weight to the board were just right. |

Mystical Ninja |
A classy N64 3D adventure for one of Konami's fan favourite characters Goemon, those who love wacky nonsensical Japanese humour should check this game out it's totally mad. |
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
Bangai-O |
Treasure ended up making three games in total for the N64 and all of then ended up as classics, Bangai-O is a very unique and frantic shmup which controls excellently on N64. Don't worry about the story being in Japanese ether, you're not really missing much not being able to understand it to be honest. |

Shadow Man |
What a fantastically original horror themed game brimming with depth! one of those non-linear games that you can really get involved in and explore fully. A word of caution avoid the horribly rushed port on the PS1 like the plague as it's a bit of a mess unfortunately. |

Beetle Adventure Racing |
One of the best arcade style racers on the N64, nice handling, loads of secrets, great tracks, definately a game to try out. |

Rocket Robot on Wheels |
A Mario 64 style game made by Sucker Punch, the people who went on to create the Sly Cooper games, unlike many of the other Mario clones out there however Rocket is full to the brim with new ideas and concepts, so much so that it manages to give some of the more famous games such as Mario and Banjo a run for their money. |

World Driver Championship |
Probably the best realistic driving game on the N64, looks great, provides a nice challenge and has loads of depth. |

Pilot Wings |
Beautifully realised game where you fly different aircraft around islands fullfilling different mission criterias, a very singular and unique experience. |

Turok 2 |
This definately has to be the biggest, greatest Turok game ever made, back from a time when the Turok games were actually still relevant. Some of the coolest and biggest weapons to ever grace any FPS ever and an excellent 4-player mode. |
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
Rayman 2 |
It's all well and good jumping around solving puzzles and collecting stars and such but sometimes you just want an uncomplicated, fun platform romp, and thats exactly what Rayman 2 provides. |
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
Ogre Battle 64 |
Unfortunately one of the only worthwhile RPG's on the system, Ogre Battle really didn't disapoint the genre starved N64 fans. hoards of depth and strategy and loads of replayability ranks it up with the best games of the N64's game library. |
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
Tony Hawk's Skateboarding |
It was a while coming but when Tony Hawk's eventually did turn up on the 64' it was every bit as classic as the PS1 original, loads of cool stuntwork, tons of depth, stone cold classic. |

Wave Race |
Another racing classic on N64, which just goes to show how strong in was in that particular genre, Wave Race was a truly amazing game when it came out with undeniably brilliant water affects and gameplay, one of my personal favourites. |
